John Kingsbury

Therese and John were born and raised in the Sacramento, California area. After John graduated from high school, he entered the US Army and worked as a military police accident investigator. After three years he left the military and started collage at California State University, where he graduated with a BA degree. He worked as a police officer for the City of Sacramento and was working as patrol training officer when he met Therese. John moved up to detective in narcotic investigations, Homicide investigations and as an instructor in emergency vehicle operations, until retiring in 2007 Therese was well established as a Realtor for Coldwell Banker NRT in Elk Grove. Ca. (a suburb of Sacramento), so John obtained his California Real Estate license so that he could assist Therese with her business. In 2007 we moved to Whidbey Island, where we bought and sold a large boat, emersed ourselves in the community, volunteering and mentoring a 12-year-old boy through Big Brothers Big Sisters until he was 18. Therese and John are on the board of Sculpture Northwest, a non profit that supports artists and their art. We are also members of the Elks and the Whidbey Island Pirates, which is a non-profit philanthropic organization. In support of our love for art we have been working on building a sculpture park on our private property called WISE, (Whidbey Island Sculpture experience), which we open to the public by appointment. In the last ten years or so we have helped our many clients live their dream on Whidbey and Fidalgo islands and created many friends in the process. Give us a call, you won't be sorry.
